Satisfaction Guaranteed

Last weekend I spoke and sang at a women’s retreat on one of my favorite topics, “Writing the Song of Your Life.” This is a teaching I’ve been doing for a while now, and I am actually completing an online course that goes along with it, which will be launching later this week. I can’t wait to share it with the world!
The course is all about finding your purpose and stepping into your calling. It dives deep into the fact that we are all created on purpose for a purpose and it’s up to us to discover and live out that purpose.
I’m amazed at the number of people I meet who have absolutely no idea what their purpose is or don’t believe that they even have one. So many feel like they are not good enough or talented enough to make a difference in the world. That’s a total and complete lie from the pit of hell! God has a beautiful, wonderful plan for each and every one of us, a beautiful song that only we can sing.
Let’s look at what the Bible tells us about our purpose and the importance of living it out:
God has given each of us the ability to do certain things well. Romans 12:6a (LB)
I glorified you on earth by completing down to the last detail what you assigned me to do. John 14:4 (The Message)
The most important thing is that I complete my mission, the work that the Lord Jesus gave me. Acts 20:24 (NCV)
I am extremely passionate about purpose because it took me a very long time to step into mine. Because of that, I love encouraging, challenging, and inspiring others to find their purpose and start living it out.
And honestly, I think there is a satisfaction guaranteed offer to be made with this whole purpose thing. There’s no way to describe how good it feels to be smack dab in the middle of your purpose other than being smack dab in the middle of your purpose! As I left the retreat on Saturday, I was utterly exhausted but completely fulfilled. Knowing that I am doing exactly what God created me to do is incredibly gratifying and rewarding.
I’ve received countless messages from women who have attended this conference who are now taking some risks to start stepping into their purpose, and they are so excited. One of them is going to lead a bible study this summer. Another one is looking at going back to school. Another one is considering starting a ministry she’s been dreaming about for years. I’m so excited for each of them!
Satisfaction guaranteed typically refers to a legally-binding express guarantee of satisfaction in the contract of a sale of goods. As consumers, it gives us a sense of security knowing that the company we are buying from will do their very best to make things right if something goes wrong with the product we purchase.
I believe when we intentionally seek out and step into our purpose, we get a satisfaction guarantee. We can feel secure knowing that God will bless our efforts and will reward us for it. I’m not saying it will be easy. I’m not implying we will get rich or anything along those lines. I am, however, 100 percent certain that when we step into our calling, whatever that is for each of us individually, we will feel a sense of satisfaction and peace that cannot be replicated anywhere else.
Where are you at with this whole purpose thing, my friend? Do you know why on earth God created you? Do you feel like you are living into all He created you to be?
If not, it’s NEVER too late to be intentional about discovering your unique calling and start stepping into your purpose.
And when you do, I can say with all authority that you will experience satisfaction……..guaranteed!
